Quality Assurance Engineer, Manish Kumar from India and based in Kuwait, has successfully completed the Professional Certificate in Quality Management after studying with rove via distance learning.
With over ten years’ experience in the quality field and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Manish began his studies in June 2019. His aim was to enhance his knowledge in quality management. He also wanted to gain professional recognition by upgrading his current PCQI status. In August (2022) Manish successfully completed the prestigious CQI and IRCA Professional Certificate in Quality Management.
We asked Manish if to share with us how his training has helped him in his role, his thoughts on distance learning and what advice he’d give to others considering studying quality management courses with rove.

“Enrolling on this course comes from my motivation to learn the most I can about quality tools, risk management practices. And, also to develop a sound understanding of quality planning, assurance and implementation practices. MY ROLE AS A QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER
“As a ‘Quality Engineer’, I have a daily routine which circles around the project scope of work, colleagues, and clients. My day mostly involves inspections, document review, client meetings and finally reporting daily quality observations/concerns.
“Around 6:30am each morning, site activities start with a safety orientation, work permit briefing and discussion on resource availability and production target. Within the fast-paced project environment, I ensure the quality related issues, challenges are resolved timely without additional cost implication and deviation from the project specification requirements.
“I enjoy daily learnings, raising awareness among the teams with focus on organisational objectives and respective performance attributes are achieved by active participation and engagement of the individuals.”
